Canuck Cup golf scramble results

ST. JOHN — The Webb’s Slough Weekend kicked off their weekend fun Friday, June 16, with the Canuck Cup Golf Scramble.

Below are the first, second, and third place results, as well as awards given out for longest putt, closest to the pin, and longest drive.

1st place: Pat Gordon, Bill Parrish, Ray Vance, and “Jim” in a one-hole playoff victory

2nd place: Tate Schauble, Drew Gordon, Mackayla Bickelhaupt, and Matt Antle

3rd place: Steve Bailey, Kirk Wiggins, Brody Burnham, and Jim VanLith

closest to the pin was Jim VanLith, 46 inches away

Long drive: Ray Vance

Long putt: Daryl Could 39 feet one inch

The golf tournament took place at the St. John golf course near downtown.

The tournament was a four person scramble tournament format, which included a keg beer and hotdog lunch after the conclusion of the event.

The event was a success thanks to the golf course and the town of St. John.
