PULLMAN — The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners seeks to fill a 6-year term vacancy on the seven-person board; the eligible candidates’ application deadline is July 10, 2023.
Former C. Michael Murphy, MD, has served on the board since 2000, and his last day of service was May 4, 2023.
Eligible applicants must be registered voters, live in Pullman city limits, and cannot be hospital employees.
The board will hold a special meeting on July 19 to interview candidates and potentially appoint the new commissioner.
The appointee must file a Personal Financial Affairs Statement with the Public Disclosure Commission and participate in the November 2023 election by filing in August.
The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners is an elected body legally responsible for overseeing hospital district policies and organization concerning the district’s operations, including delivery of quality patient care and meeting community healthcare needs.
Monthly meetings at Pullman Regional Hospital are open to the public.
