Mike Day raises over $900 during annual Battle Days raffle

Many locals and businesses helped with donations to auction

Roger Harnack | The Gazette Hundreds of classic car and truck aficionados spent Saturday in Rosalia, taking in the community's annual car show and pin-up girl contest, and enjoying a shrimp boil. ROSALIA - Mike Day confirmed he held another successful raffle at this year's Battle Days Saturday, June 3 through Sunday, June 4, raising $957.

"It went great," Day said, adding that he raffled forty-eight items.

Some items Day raffled included a bird feeder from Tekoa Pharmacy, which Sandy Barns took home; Sports shirts from WIA Seattle; a $40 gift certificate from the Brass Rail in Rosalia won by C Johson; A blanket from Shriner's, which Kay Kjack won.

Other items donated included golf balls and tees donated by Washington State University, won by J. Schmidt; an Oral B Toothbrush presente...
