COLFAX –– Five local veterans were honored with quilts from the local chapter of Quilts of Valor, Saturday, May 20, in Colfax.
The veterans, along with family and friends, made their way to Colfax Community Church, formerly known as Colfax United Methodist Church, Saturday to be honored with hand-made quilts in recognition of their service to the country.
Those who were honored were Dan Bodey, Jerry Campbell, Hugh Ham, "Red" Martin, and Robert Wride.
