Prosecutor said Simons is a “high-level” drug dealer
COLFAX — On Friday, May 5, in a Superior Court hearing, Nicole Simmons, 31, of Spokane, pled guilty to possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 20 months maximum in prison by Whitman County Superior Court Judge Gary Libey.
Deputies arrested Simmons near Tekoa in a stolen truck from Palouse in January.
Simmons had tens of thousands of dollars in drugs, according to reports.
Drugs included a hazardous type of fentanyl pill that looks like candy called “Skittles,” and reportedly had over 1,500 fentanyl pills, over a half pound of methamphetamine, and 40 grams of heroin.
Reports say the Whitman County prosecutor told the court Simmons is a “high-level” drug dealer.
Simmons will face prison, be on probation for a year, and have an order to undergo a drug addiction evaluation.
