Collision stalls Main Street

The multi-vehicle collision slows Main Street as responders arrive and help direct traffic, May 4.

COLFAX - The Colfax Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision Thursday, May 4, at the Colfax Subway.

Derek Troyer, 22, of Grangeville, Idaho., was pulling out of the subway in an Acura turning north on main street when he was struck by Ryann Miller, 20, of Colfax, in a Dodge Durango.

Miller, who had the right-of-way, was coming off the bridge from SR26 onto Main Street when Troyer pulled out to turn north, getting struck on the rear passenger door on the driver's side.

Troyer sustained a minor cut. Chief of Police Bruce Blood reported.
