COLTON –– Both Colton Varsity Wildcats and Garfield-Palouse (Gar-Pal) softball teams had their offenses going on Saturday, but the Wildcats eventually prevailed in a 12-9 victory.
The doubleheader started in the first game when Colton fired up the offense in the first inning when Clare Bowechop induced Kate Schultheis to hit into a fielder's choice, scoring two runs.
Colton Varsity Wildcats pulled away for good with six runs in the fourth inning.
