UNIONTOWN- A fatal car collision on I95 occurred on Sunday, April 30.

The Washington State Patrol Reported that at 7:13 p.m., Munir Daud, 80, of Pullman, veered across the southbound lane of travel and went off the roadway.

Daud was traveling northbound in a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he went down a steep embankment, back up the embankment and collided with an uphill dirt embankment.

Daud was dead on the scene and Washington State Patrol reports that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash. Daud was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
