A group of protestes marches through Colfax on Thursday, April 20, in opposition of the re-zoning of the proposed Ag Campus land site.

The Port of Whitman held its regular meeting today at 10 a.m. at 302 North Mill Street.

The meeting started with public comment from Pullman residents against rezoning residential land near Old Wawawai Road in Pullman for a proposed Agriculture Advancement Campus.

When addressed on the agenda, Commissioner Meyer motioned to pull out of the land purchase for the proposed campus.

After discussion, the motion passed two to one.
