Colton Wildcats take on Pomeroy in doubleheader

COLTON –– Colton pulled away late in a 5-3 victory against Pomeroy in their first game in a doubleheader on Monday, April 10.
The game was tied at three, with Colton batting in the top of the fifth when Grant Wolf grounded out, scoring one run.
Pomeroy started with scoring in the first inning. However, Wolf pitched, allowing one run to score for Pomeroy.
Colton scored three runs in the third inning. Wolf, Dan Bell, and Matt Reisenauer led the offense, all driving in runs in the inning.
Wolf lasted seven innings on the mound, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out ten....
