Semi crash on US 195, approx. 1 mile south of Colfax.
COLFAX - A semi travelling southbound on US195 lost control on Friday, March 17, as it headed around the curve towards Pullman.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) confirmed that a vehicle number one went off the roadway to the right, colliding with the roadway ditch and a rock embankment.
WSP Trooper Merwin, stated that the out of area driver was driving just a little too fast on the curves, and collided with the roadway ditch.
"He was cited for speed, and he was wearing a seatbelt," Merwin said, noting that the driver was not from the area.
