Drier Spring ahead

COLFAX — The National Weather Service of Spokane has predicted a much dryer season for the Palouse area this year.

Laurie Nisbet, Spokane National Weather Service Meteorologist, reported that the Palouse could expect warmer temperatures and less rain through the following week.

“Looks like mostly sunny skies and nice weather ahead,” Nisbet said, “no weather systems are moving into the Palouse until late Sunday over the weekend.”

Colfax can expect highs in the mid to high 50s and lows in the upper 20s and low 30s throughout the following week. However, The National Weather Service is reporting...
