Libey Gallery presents Bloomsday exhibit

COLFAX-A Bloomsday poster exhibit is on display through the month of March at the Libey Gallery, 110 South Main Street.

The poster display includes 12 of the 44 official Bloomsday posters, including the series from 2017 through 2020 when put together spell out the word "Bloomsday," designed by Steve Merryman of Sigma.

The display shows part of the entire history of the Bloomsday race, and showcases a variety of artwork and photography to commemorate the event. As well as a quilt made with severeal of the official finisher shirts from the early years of the 45 year old running event.

The running event takes place in Spokane, and is scheduled for Sunday, May 7, with 30,000 runners, joggers, and walkers expected to participate.

Those who register by March 31 will have a reduced fee, as well as a personalized race bib. Participants can sign up online at http://www.bloomsdayrun.org.
