Details on death of 39 year-old man on WSU campus

COLFAX – The death of a 39-year-old man, Friday, Feb. 24, was determined to be due to medical conditions, states a press release by Whitman County Coroner, Annie Pillers.

According to a release from WSU Chief of Police, Gary Jenkins, the WSU Police responded to a call of an unconscious person at the west doors of the Compton Union Building (CUB), Friday, Feb. 24, at 3:10 p.m.

The unnamed 39-year-old male was found unconscious and unresponsive. The statement reports that officers performed CPR until the arrival of Pullman Fire Department paramedics who were also unable to revive the subject.
