The Whitman County Cougars Special Olympics Team gets ready to compete at a regional tournament Feb. 11 in Smith Gym at the Bohler-Smith Complex on the Washington State University Campus in Pullman. The Cougars finished with three gold medalists at the tournament: Reid Hartley, Michael Sokoloski and Garrett Simpson. Hartley and Sokoloski will advance to the state tournament in Wenatchee from March 3-5. Simpson will not make the tournament due to previous obligations.
