COLFAX – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Feb. 6 to Feb. 11:

Feb. 6

3:13 a.m.- South Main Street, Colfax. Deputy responded to a burglary alarm.

11:52 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Front Office provided fingerprint services.

11:54 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Front Office provided fingerprint services.

12:45 p.m.- Repp Steiger Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a report of theft from a mailbox.

1:09 p.m.- Lupfer Avenue, Steptoe. Deputy responded to a report of a vicious dog.

1:52 p.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 26, Clarkston. Deputy requested a case for a transportation detail.

2:35 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 45, Colfax. Deputy requested a case for eluding.

Feb. 7

1:01 a.m.- West Church Street, Palouse. Deputy arrested, Kristoffer James Tucker, 39, was arrested for assault, and domestic violence.

1:07 a.m.- South Main Street, LaCrosse. Deputy received a report of a 911 hang up.

8:00 a.m.- McNeilly Road, Colfax. Deputy received a report of possible fraud, and contacted the reporting party.

10:24 a.m.- Main Street, Lamont Middle School, Lamont. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

11:04 a.m.- Northeast Terre Drive and Northeast Airport Road, Pullman. Deputy arrested Jeremiah Trevon Salaam, 23, for driving while license suspended, the subject was cited and released.

12:05 p.m.- West Nob Hill Street, St. John High School, St. John. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

3:07 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for a sex offender registration.

3:42 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s office requested a case number for fingerprints.

3:45 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s office requested a case number for fingerprints.

6:55 p.m.- West Bridge Street, Tekoa. Deputy received an APS referral, and responded and checked on the subject.

Feb. 8

9:46 a.m.- East Henkle Street, Tekoa. Deputy requested a case for other law enforcement calls.

10:11 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s office un-registered a sex offender that moved out of the area.

1:57 p.m.- School Road, Endicott. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

3:07 p.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy, EMS, and the Coroner responded for a death.

5:22 p.m.- SR 194 milepost 19, Pullman. Deputy responded to a fraud report.

Feb. 9

8:48 a.m.- North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Officer requested a case number for a sex offender registration.

9:03 a.m.- Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy and EMS responded to an industrial accident, one patient was transported to the hospital via Life Flight.

9:12 a.m.- Oakesdale. Deputy responded to a report of an injured dog, and located the dog who appeared to be okay.

10:30 a.m.- South Whitman Avenue, Rosalia. Deputy requested a case number for a suspicious person/circumstance.

10:44 a.m.- North Whitman Avenue, Rosalia. Deputy received a report of a feral kitten that appeared to be sick.

11:49 a.m.- Swannack Road, Lamont. Deputy received a report of possible identity theft.

12:40 p.m.- West McCoy Street, Oakesdale School, Oakesdale. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

3:00 p.m.- North Broadway Street, Tekoa Elementary School, Tekoa. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

3:18 p.m.- East Front Street, Albion. Deputy responded to a report of a subject sitting in his car this morning.

4:46 p.m.- West Church Street, Palouse. Deputy responded to a civil standby.

6:24 p.m.- North Main Street, Colfax. Deputy arrested Bryan Roberto Ramirez Ramos, 24, for suspended registration, and the charges were referred to the Prosecutor.

6:55 p.m.- North Main Street, Colfax. Deputy assisted the Colfax PD.

9:29 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 11, Colton. Deputy arrested Devin Nicholas Lindsey, 40, for DWLS 3rd, the subject was cited and released.

10:11 p.m.- SR 193, Clarkston. Deputy arrested James Otto Reiber, 49, on a felony warrant.

Feb. 10

1:32 a.m.- East Main Street and South Howard Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a 911 call.

7:29 a.m.- Union Street, Colton. Deputy responded to a harassment complaint.

10:08 a.m.- East Alder Street, Palouse. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

12:44 p.m.- West McCoy Street, Oakesdale. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

1:03 p.m.- Endicott Road, Endicott. Deputy responded to a civil matter.

3:50 p.m.- Colfax Airport Road and Duncan Springs Road, Colfax. Faith M. Mink, 19, of Moscow was cited and released for a traffic violation.

4:22 p.m.- South Whitman Avenue, Rosalia. Deputy responded to a report of a juvenile riding a motorcycle in the area, checked, and was unable to locate the problem.

4:38 p.m.- Ragon Road and Klaveano Road, Thornton. Deputy responded to a report of a dog running at large in the area, checked, and did not locate the dog.

5:00 p.m.- West Poplar Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a report of an assault.

5:06 p.m.- South Grand Avenue, Pullman. Brandon L. Vandalsen, 36, of Thorton was arrested for driving under the influence.

Feb. 11

12:11 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to contact staff regarding concerns about a resident.

12:57 a.m.- Northeast Valley Road and Northeast Merman Drive, Pullman. Austin A. Cebulske, 33, of Pullman was arrested for driving under the influence.

1:21 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy and EMS responded to a fall, and the patient was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

2:51 p.m.- Palouse Cove Road, Palouse. Deputy responded to a report of sick and injured kittens in the area.

3:14 p.m.- Northeast Quinmose Lane, Malden. Deputy responded to a report of a loud vehicle in the area.

3:29 p.m.- State Highway 66 and North Highway 95, Viola. Deputy requested a case for property damage.

6:31 p.m.- West Marjorie Court, St. John. Deputy, St. John EMS, and Rosalia Ambulance responded for an assault, one patient was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

11:58 p.m.- Pullman Airport Road and O’donnell Road, Pullman. Joel B. Jameson, 20, of Moscow was cited and released for driving with license suspended.
