COLFAX – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Jan. 31 to Feb.5

Jan. 31

8:16 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Front Office provided fingerprint services.

10:15 a.m.- Main Street, Lamont. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

10:37 a.m.- South Hill Avenue, LaCrosse. Deputy and Coroner responded to an unattended death.

11:59 a.m.- West Nob Hill Street, St. John. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

2:29 p.m.- East Alder Street, Tekoa. Kegan L. Lamay, 34, of Tekoa was arrested on a warrant.

4:22 p.m.- North F Street, Palouse. Deputy responded to assist the Moscow PD.

4:37 p.m.- SR 195 and Old Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a one vehicle slide off.

7:09 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. Deputy requested a case for transportation detail.

7:18 p.m.-North Roberts Street, Oakesdale. Deputy responded to a trespassing complaint.

8:32 p.m.- McCroskey Road and Hume Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a one vehicle slide off.

Feb. 1

4:53 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy assisted APS.

5:58 a.m.- Hume Road, Colfax. Deputy received a report of a vehicle in the ditch, it was determined this call was handled last night under case number 23-S0284.

9:35 a.m.- South Main Street, Colfax. Deputy assisted Colfax PD with a domestic dispute.

11:01 a.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for fingerprints.

11:24 a.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. The Sheriff received a report of a possible trespass, Sheriff assigned for investigation.

12:02 p.m.- North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Officer requested a case number for fingerprints.

12:03 p.m.- North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Officer requested a case number for fingerprints.

1:48 p.m.- School Road, Endicott School, Endicott. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

1:55 p.m.- East Warren Street, Tekoa School District, Tekoa. Deputy received a report of a 911 hang up.

3:25 p.m.- McGrady Road, Colfax. Deputy received a report of mail that had been gone through, and contacted the reporting party.

3:43 p.m.- East Woodworth Street, Uniontown. Deputy responded to a report of a burglary.

6:14 p.m.- North H Street, Albion. Deputy responded to a report of a possible order violation concerning animal problem/complaint.

7:26 p.m.- SR 270, Pullman. Deputy arrested Denise Ellen Kelly, 31, on a misdemeanor warrant.

7:52 p.m.- South Whitman Avenue and East 6th Street, Rosalia. Deputy received a report of a subject licking windows, responded, and was unable to locate the subject.

8:35 p.m.- SR 274 milepost 1, Tekoa. Deputy arrested William Odel Kemme, 54, for DWLS 3 rd and Ignition Interlock Violation and arrested David Warren Janson, 46, on an out of County warrant.

Feb. 2

8:16 a.m.- Union Street, Colton High School, Colton. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

9:48 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy received a report of a subject looking at pornography.

10:20 a.m.- Wawawai Pullman Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a possible abandoned vehicle, which was towed.

12:31 p.m.- South Whitman Avenue, LaCrosse. Deputy received a report of a suspicious vehicle, responded, and was unable to locate the vehicle.

12:35 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number.

12:37 p.m.- West McCoy Street, Oakesdale School, Oakesdale. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

1:57 p.m.- North Broadway Street, Tekoa Elementary School, Tekoa. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

3:31 p.m.- North Lindsay Street, Tekoa. Deputy requested a case number for civil standby.

4:38 p.m.- SR 272, Palouse. Deputy received a report of possible abandoned animals, and responded to check on the animals.

6:55 p.m.- Albion. Deputy requested a case number for sex offense.

11:12 p.m.- Kackman Road, Endicott. Deputy received a report of a subject standing in the roadway, responded, and contacted the subject.

Feb. 3

2:25 a.m.- Huntley Road, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 static call.

9:59 a.m.- East Alder Street, Palouse High School, Palouse. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for a DARE presentation.

10:46 a.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office registered a level 1 sex offender.

12:43 p.m.- 101 West McCoy Street, Oakesdale School, Oakesdale. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for a DARE presentation.

3:51 p.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. Deputy requested a case for transportation detail.

4:17 p.m.- SR 195 and Parvin Road, area, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stray possible Golden Retriever.

7:31 p.m.- South Bryan Boulevard, St. John. The Sheriff’s Office received an APS referral.

Feb. 4

12:10 a.m.- North Grand Avenue and Ritchie Street, Pullman. The Sheriff’s Office arrested and booked Bobby Lor into the Whitman County Jail for a DUI.

12:33 a.m.- Northeast Stadium Way, on stadium, Pullman. The Sheriff’s Office arrested and booked Mia Murphy into the Whitman County Jail for DUI.

3:03 a.m.- Farm Road and West A Street, SR 270 in WA, Moscow. The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Moscow PD by attempting to locate a possible DUI vehicle.

1:14 p.m.- Farmington, Farmington. The Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for a call.

1:45 p.m.- South Whitman Avenue, Block, Rosalia. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a juvenile riding recklessly on a mini bike, and was unable to locate the juvenile.

5:22 p.m.- North Main Street, Rosauers, PI, Colfax. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fall.

6:20 p.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number for a citizen rider.

Feb. 5

1:34 a.m.- Northeast Terre View Drive, Cougs Corner Mart, Pullman. The Sheriff’s Office contacted a subject regarding a traffic violation.

6:29 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa Care Center, Tekoa. The Sheriff’s Office received a request for a welfare check on a resident of the care center walking along the highway.

9:11 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa Care Center, Tekoa. The Sheriff’s Office received a call from a confused resident.

3:30 p.m.- 301 West Front Street, St. John. The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Snohomish County SO with attempting to locate a subject.

9:29 p.m.- West Pearl Street, Oakesdale. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic dispute.
