Colfax Chamber of Commerce seeks new executive director

Keogh will return to first passion, physical therapy

January 26, 2023

COLFAX—The Colfax Chamber of Commerce is currently searching for a new Executive Director to move the Chamber towards the future.

“The Chamber is in a great place right now,” said current Executive Director of the Colfax Chamber of Commerce, Molly Keogh, “There has been a lot of momentum from the last year and a half of rebuilding from the pandemic. There is a newly expanded and committed Board of Directors, who are working on a new Visitors Guild/Business Directory, a new updated website and improvements to community-building events and programs. The next director ideally will be someone who wants to be the change in this community.”

The Chamber is the largest business organization in Colfax and maintains a visitors center on Main Street in The Center. The Chamber’s mission is to promote local business, tourism, economic development and build community.

Molly reports that she is sad to be leaving the Chamber, but had the opportunity to return to her first passion, working as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Whitman County Hospital and Medical Clinics. She plans to continue to help the new director to make a smooth transition.

“I am eager to see what the next year has in store and I look forward to meeting some amazing applicants to move the Chamber of Commerce into forward motion,” said Chamber Board President and longtime Chamber volunteer Toni Jorgenson.
