TOWN OF FARMINGTON PUBLIC HEARING

2023 FINAL BUDGET HEARING 2023 REVENUE SOURCES

The Farmington Town Council will hold a Public Hearing concerning their 2023 Final Budget and 2023 Revenue Sources during their town council meeting on December 27, 2022. The hearing will be conducted after the hour of 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Farmington Community Center - 203 East Main Street - Farmington, Washington.

Notice of Election

A hybrid poll-site and mail-in election for a board seat on the Palouse Conservation District will be held on January 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM PST until 2:00 PM PST at 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Pullman, WA 99163 and also from 4:30 PM PST until 8:30 PM PST at Dahmen Barn 419 N Pkwy, Uniontown, WA 99179. Registered voters who reside within the Conservation District boundary are eligible to vote. The last day and time that an eligible voter can request a ballot from the District is January 10, 2023 at 8:00 PM PST. Ballots can be requested from Palouse Conservation District, Rachel Magers, 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Ste H, Pullman, WA 99163, 509-553-3289 or the ballot request link online at PalouseCD.org. If a voter is returning a ballot by mail, the voter must account for the time it will take for the ballot to be returned to the district by mail. Ballots returned by mail must be post-marked no later than Election Day January 31, 2023. Ballots returned by other means must be returned to 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Ste H, Pullman WA 99163 no later than 2:00 PM PST on Election Day, January 31, 2023 or to the polling site at Dahmen Barn 419 N Pkwy, Uniontown, WA 99179 no later than 8:30 PM PST on Election Day, January 31, 2023. Candidates must be registered voters residing in the conservation district. Candidates are required to be landowners or operators of a farm, based on the current composition of the District board of supervisors. The filing deadline for candidates to file their candidate required information is 4:00 PM PST, Thursday, December 29, 2022. Interested candidates must file their candidate required information at the following location 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd., Suite H, Pullman, WA 99163, no later than 4:00 PM PST. Notice of adopted election resolution and appointment announcement

The Pine Creek Conservation District is pleased to announce an opportunity to contribute to conservation and your community by serving on the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors are public officials who set policy and direct the District. Although they serve without compensation, they are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. Elected Position Notice:

An election for a seat on the Pine Creek Conservation District’s Board of Supervisors will occur on March 8, 2023. Candidates must be registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. Candidates must file their candidate required information at the District office, 401 S. State Route 27, Oakesdale, WA 99158 or by email to casey.lowder@pinecreekcd.org. The candidate filing deadline is February 8, 2023 at 5 pm.

Voting Notice:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ST. JOHN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 2022 BUDGET.

WHEREAS, the Town’s 2022 expenses exceeded budgeted expenses in certain Funds for expenses not anticipated in the budget.

THEREFORE, be it hereby ordained by the Town Council of the Town of St John, Washington that, in compliance with audit requirements, the 2022 Budget is hereby amended to reflect increased expenses to the below Fund, and for the reason enumerated.

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE TOWN BUDGET PASSED IN 2021 FOR INCOME AND EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 2023.

IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF OAKESDALE, WASHINGTON:

1. WHEREAS, the council of the Town of Oakesdale adopted and published notice of a hearing on said proposed budget for the year 2023;

2. AND WHEREAS, at said hearing no objections were raised to said proposed budget;

3. AND said budget was adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Oakesdale at a

meeting held on December 19, 2022;

4. THEREFORE, said budget adopted and passed by the Town Council on December 19, 2022 is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed;

5. A copy of said budget is attached and is hereby incorporated herein.
