NWS reports prolonged snow event likely Sunday through Tuesday

COLFAX—The National Weather Service reports expected widespread snow late Saturday night through Tuesday. Reports say it will likely be a prolonged snow event and not a quick and heavy burst of snow.

Below-normal temperatures are reported to continue with smaller chances of extreme cold after Tuesday, reports the NWS. The cold air could be accompanied by brisk, north winds Tuesday and Wednesday.
