Deputies investigate possible DUI after woman hit truck

COLTON — A local woman could face charges in a crash law enforcement officials say may be a drunken driving incident.
Phoebe Adams, 32, of Pullman, was taken to an area hospital Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 27, after her Honda Accord hit a truck on U.S. Highway 195.
Adams was southbound when she rear-ended a semi-truck, the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Adams’ vehicle went off the road and into a chainlink fence, the report said.
Emergency crews from Fire District No. 14 and Lewiston Fire Department responded to aid the driver, the report said.
