Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation seeks new executive director

PULLMAN – Chief Development and External Relations Officer, Reuben Mayes, at Pullman Regional Hospital has taken a new positions with Seattle Children’s Hospital as the Regional Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer. Reuben’s last day is Sept. 30.

Mayes started his career at Pullman Regional Hospital in 2013 and helped raise more than $20 million through donations, fundraising events and grant awards.

The hosptial has used the philanthropic funds to remodel and build patient care spaces, purchase medical technology and fund programs. Under Mayes’ leadership, the Foundation grew annual fundraising goals from $240,000 to $2.4 million. Mayes established a comprehensive strategy and grew avenues for doners to give, including online giving, qualified charitable distribution, bequest and estate gifts, gifts of life insurance policies, memorials, endowments and guilds.

Most recently, the Foundation concluded a successful $7.6 million for the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, fully funded construction of Family Medicine Resident Center and supported purchasing a new electronic medical record system and expansion of surgical services with the da Vinci Xi robotic assisted surgical system.

The Hospital is looking for a new Executive Director for the Foundation. The position is posted on the hospital’s career website, http://www.pullmanregional.org/careers, along with a summary of duties and qualifications.

Current Foudnation Board leadership includes President Karlene Beaumon, Past-President Pat Wright, Vice President Ray Wallace, and Treasurer Adrian Green.
