Palouse to shut off water main Sept. 6

PALOUSE— The water main that serves the Northeast section of the north hill, Breeding’s Addition, and Fisher’s Addition in Palouse will be shut off starting Tues. Sept. 6, at approximately 8 a.m. This will last about 6 to 10 hours.
The City of Palouse asks citizens to have enough water to supply during this period and to turn the water off if the house is left unattended after the water is turned off. The City advises turning off all faucets and fixtures to avoid flooding when water is turned on and to shut off the water heater.
