Auto Dealers for Health celebrates ten year partnership

$250,000 in Giving to Pullman Regional Hospital

PULLMAN – The Auto Dealers for Health program has raised more than $250,000 in funds for Pullman Regional Hospital since 2012. This year they celebrate ten years of partnership with Wysup Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet dealerships.

"It's exciting to see Pullman Regional Hospital grow into the state-of-the-art facility that it is with the help of local auto dealers," said Fran Amend, owner of Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet.

Michael Wysup, owner of Wysup Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Amend, have supported the hospital through Auto Dealers for Health for ten consecutive years. In August, $100 is donated to the hospital every time a new or used car is ordered or purchase from the local dealerships.

"We're so lucky to have this level of healthcare in our community," said Wysup, "At every dealership, we have had a loved one, employee, friend or customer positively impacted by Pullman Regional Hospital. We're supporting the health of our communities, and that's a worthy investment."

Ten years ago, Wysup was inspired by his mentor Jamie Will of Titus-Will auto group in Tacoma, approaching the hospital with the idea to team up with local dealerships.

"What Michael and Fran started, and continue to support, has made an indelible impact on patient care," said Scott Adams, Pullman Regional Hospital CEO. "Over the years, the Auto Dealers for Health program has supported 3D mammography equipment for faster and more accurate detection of breast cancer, the construction of an additional operating room, expansion of our emergency department, and state-of-the-art surgical robotic technology. People like the Wysup Family, Fran and the employees at the dealerships make it possible for us to do extraordinary things for our community."
