COLFAX- Locals and visitors gathered to celebrate Colfax's 150th Celebration on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24.

A large group met at Eells Park Saturday morning at 9:30 to see the newly renovated Lippett fountain.

Distinguished Young Women Miss Colfax Ellie Nails and Princess Olivia Ng held a ribbon as dignitaries cut it to commemorate the fountain spouting water for the first time in eight years.

"It shows when we get all the organizations together what can happen for the city and our community," Mayor Jim Retzer said about the 150 Celebration. "Hopefully, we can build on it in the futur...
