Association of Washington Cities CEO presents Colfax a gift for 150 Celebration

COLFAX- The newly appointed CEO of the Association of Washington Cities (AWC), Deanna Dawson, visited Colfax on July 14 to recognize Colfax's 150 Celebration, "We just wanted to congratulate Colfax on 150 years. It's one of the oldest towns in the state," Dawson said.

After presenting the gift, which states "Happy Anniversary, Colfax! Congratulations on 150 years of history, farming, and community." Mayor Jim Retzer and Dawson took a walk to Eells Park to see the newly renovated Lippett Fountain and talked about the upcoming festivities happening for the celebration.
