Washtucna man arrested

WASHTUCNA — A local man was booked into the Adams County Jail on Monday after allegedly shooting at a cyclist.

Steve Stone, 35, of Washtucna, was booked into the jail on first-degree assault, possession of a stolen firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm, records show.

He was arrested after deputies responded to a reported shooting at about 4 a.m., records show, noting the victim was a cyclist who had been shot twice.
