Larry Gene Schroetlin

Larry G. Schroetlin, 74, of passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his rural Garfield, Wash., home.

Larry was born Aug. 27, 1947 in Spokane, Wash., to Solomon and Bertha (Schoepflin) Schroetlin. Larry attended his early schooling at Farmington, Wash. He then attended the Upper Columbia Academy near Spangle, Wash., and graduated in 1965. Larry then attended Walla Walla University for two years.

Larry married Linda Kilgore on June 11, 1967, in Burlingame, Calif., and the couple moved to Palouse, Wash., in 1967. Larry served in the U.S. Army from Jan. 23, 1969, and was discharged as a specialist 5th class on Jan 22, 1971.

The couple moved to Garfield, Wash., in 1976, where Larry farmed with his Brother Alfred Schroetlin until he retired in 2015. Larry was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Farmington, Wash.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Schroetlin of Garfield; son, Robert (Rebecca) Schroetlin of Clarkston, Wash; daughter, Jennifer Wintermyer of Wenatchee, Wash; brother, Alfred (Deanna) Schroetlin of Farmington, Wash .; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Farmington, Wash. Memorial gifts may be made to the Garfield-Farmington E.M.S. of Garfield, Wash., or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at http://www.kramercares.com
