Alene Lucill Lust died April 23, 2002, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Alene was born on the family farm just outside Endicott, Wash., on Sept. 9, 1930, to parents Kathryn Hergert Lust and Daniel Lust. She had a loving, older brother Daniel “Wayne” Lust who she adored!
Alene graduated from Endicott High School as salutatorian of her class. She then attended Washington State College (now University), where she belonged to the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
