Attending members were Kristal Krom Kirpes, Colton; Paula Morris Meyer, Colfax; Sheri Shaffer Hatley, Oakesdale; Karen Stueckle Light, Portland, Ore .; Michelle Gamble Ownbey, Moscow, Idaho; Denise Broeckel Kendall, Tacoma, and Doreen Broeckel Riedner, Penawawa. On Sunday morning, they attended worship services at Country Bible Church before returning to their respective homes.
Monday, Doreen and Denise traveled to Davenport to visit a college roommate, Wendy Wollweber Schultz. They graduated from Eastern Washington University.
Denise also visited her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Angela Broeckel, and returned to Tacoma Tuesday morning.
The Dusty community received the sad news that Mark and Laurie Wiebe (his father, Lloyd Wiebe, was a former pastor of Country Bible Church) of Nanaimo, B.C., Canada, lost their son, Philip, last Friday.
Philip taught at Glendale Preparatory Academy in Arizona. He is survived by his parents, his wife Kinzie and his two sisters and their families.
