The LaCrosse High School Class of 1979 annual girls’ weekend was this past weekend at The Parsonage Bed and Breakfast in Dusty. 

Attending members were Kristal Krom Kirpes, Colton; Paula Morris Meyer, Colfax; Sheri Shaffer Hatley, Oakesdale; Karen Stueckle Light, Portland, Ore.; Michelle Gamble Ownbey, Moscow, Idaho; Denise Broeckel Kendall, Tacoma, and Doreen Broeckel Riedner, Penawawa. Lisa Bell Nichols of Seattle also stopped by. 

The women took a short road trip to the home of Karen Broeckel for their usual supply of chocolate chip cookies.
