Colfax artist exhibiting in area galleries

COLFAX - A local artist has a new exhibition that will be featured in the surrounding area.

Nancy Rothwell, 77, currently has paintings featured at the downtown Libey Gallery and has several paintings at Spokane Avenue West Gallery.

Her next collection is to be shown at the Moses Lake Art Museum this summer.

This new collection is inspired by the events from the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, she said. Her comparative take on the 1918 Spanish flu and the COVID-19 pandemic focuses primarily on the strength of women and those working in hospitals.
