Drug bust produces stolen property

Deputies recover missing items from Clarkston burglaries

COLFAX – Packaged methamphetamine and stolen items were found inside a vehicle stopped by Whitman County sheriff’s deputies on Jan. 25.

Deputies stopped the vehicle for a licensing violation near Red Wolf Bridge on State Highway 128 in southern Whitman County.

The vehicle matched a description of one involved in a Uniontown burglary attempt a week earlier, according to Sheriff Brett Myers.

The driver, Randy Skalicky, 30, of Lewiston, Idaho, spoke to deputies and allegedly admitted to the attempted burglary.
