Winter storm warning issued for Whitman County

COLFAX – A winter storm warning is in effect for Whitman County through Thursday night.

The National Weather Service is predicting more snow with accumulations of up to 8 inches in some areas of the Palouse. The most snowfall is expected to be east of US 195.

Some areas can expect ice accumulations of a light glaze of ice.

Road conditions are projected to worsen during the storm making travel dangerous.
