Grandchildren of Beck St. John enjoy Small Business Saturday
TEKOA - Shop Small had smaller crowds with the rain, but it didn't stop Tekoa from enjoying a sense of community.
Small Business Saturday offered hayrides, "Elf" at the Empire Theater, tree lighting, photos with Santa, and a gingerbread competition.
The Tekoa Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event on Nov. 27 to help bring people into downtown and learn about local small businesses and the potential Christmas gifts they have for sale.
Food and drink specials were offered from restaurants during the event.
