Vintage quilts on display

COLFAX — The Perkins House Museum offers an exhibit of vintage quilts featuring stories about historical figures and tales of friendship.

One quilt saved a local soldier’s life in World War I, stated organizers.

The quilts are on display ON Oct. 2 at the Perkins House Museum at 623 Perkins Avenue in Colfax.

Admission is free. Donations to pay for repairs to the house’s foundation are being accepted....
