Light snow in Friday forecast

COLFAX — The National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of widespread light snow Friday, with a dry and mostly cloudy weekend.

Next week, a wet and warmer period is expected Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 13, the service said. That could produce rising rivers and streams, with a prolonged period of rain on already saturated soils.
