NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, Washington, will consider the Report of the County Road Engineer for the name change of County Road No. 1130, Hanson Road in Sections 3, 9, 10, & 16 Township 19 North, Range 45 East W.M. in Whitman County, Washington.

THAT A HEARING on said name change will be held in the office of the Whitman County Commissioners in the Courthouse in Colfax, Washington on the 16th day of November, 2020, at the hour of 10:45 a.m., at which time and place all persons interested may appear and be heard for or against said name change.

NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Commissioners have set the date of Monday, November 16, 2020, at 10:20 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, WA, for proposed amendment #4 to the 2020 Whitman County budget. At that time, it is requested all department heads/elected officials requesting an amendment be present. The total amount of the proposed amended budget is approximately $65,000,000. Copies of the proposed amendment will be available November 16, 2020 by calling 397-5240.

Remote participation is available for attending the Commissioners’ meetings. Due to COVID-19 all public meetings of the Whitman County Commissioners are closed to in-person attendance. We encourage staff and the general public to participate at: https://zoom.us/j/250921172.

Upon receiving 72 hours’ advance notice, the county will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special groups of citizens, including non-English speaking residents and those who are physically disabled or otherwise impaired. The Steptoe Sewer Water District #1 is holding a public meeting Monday, November 9, 2020 at 6:15pm at the Steptoe Fire Station. This meeting will address setting the public water savings goal effective January 1, 2021-December 31, 2027. This meeting will directly follow the regular Commissioners meeting.

St John School District has declared the following 3 buses as surplus and will sell to the highest bidder: Local Bus #2 - 2012 Chevy Thomas 1-Ton gas engine bus with 115,240 miles; Local Bus #4 - 2012 Chevy Thomas 1-Ton gas engine bus with 86,580 miles; Local Bus #15 - 2006 Blue Bird All American bus with C7 Caterpillar engine and 51,715 miles. RESOLUTION NO. 2020-14

A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF GARFIELD WASHINGTON, Whitman County, setting the regular Town Council meeting schedule for November 2020.

BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Garfield as follows:

Section 1: The November 2020 regular Town Council meetings shall be held on Wednesday, November 11th, and Wednesday November 18th beginning at 7:00 pm.

Section 2: The regular Town Council meetings thereafter shall follow the same schedule of the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month beginning at 7:00 pm, as codified in the Garfield Municipal Code 2.02.010.
