Cookie sales lead to a Uniontown garage

UNIONTOWN—A Habitat for Humanity house will receive a garage door thanks to a donation from the Pullman Girl Scout Troop 3210.

The troop is donating more than $1,000 from its cookie sales proceeds ar to purchase a garage door.

The troop will formally present the garage door to Habitat on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 pm. Due to COVID restrictions the event is not open to the public, but there will be a Facebook Live ribbon cutting celebration at 1:15 p.m.

Troop 3210 is composed of first- through seventh-graders.

Troop members voted in January to use the cookie proceeds for Habitat for Humanity.
