Summoned for extortion

PULLMAN—A Georgia man has been summoned to appear for charges of extortion and criminal impersonation after police responded to a harassment call at the WSU resident hall in March 2019.

According to the police report, the reporting party told officers she had been contacted via Instagram with pictures of herself nude or only wearing underwear. The sender followed with a demand for more such pictures or those would be sent to family and friends.
