Tekoa Notice of Budget Hearing

The board of directors will meet for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the district for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library located at 513 E Henkle, Tekoa, Washington. Any person may appear at the meeting and be heard for or against any part of such budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240.

ORDINANCE NO. 640

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKESDALE, WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance Nos. 574, §1, 560, §1, 552 §1, 406 §1, 579 §1, and Oakesdale Municipal Code §2.12.010, thereby changing the regular meeting of the Town Council during the months of May, June, July and August from the first and third Monday of the month to only the first Monday of the month.

BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Oakesdale as follows:

Section 1. Oakesdale Municipal Code §2.12.010 and those portions of Ordinance Nos. 574 §1, 560 §1, 552 §1, 406 §1, 579 §1, which are codified as Oakesdale Municipal Code §2.12.010 are hereby amended to read as follows:

“2.12.101 – Meetings. During the months of September through April, the Town Council of the Town of Oakesdale shall hold its regular meetings at the Oakesdale Town Hall, or at such place as the Council may by resolution from time-to-time designate, at seven p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each of those months. During the months of May through August, the Town Council of the Town of Oakesdale shall hold its regular meetings at the Oakesdale Town Hall, or at such place as the Council may by resolution from time-to-time designate, at seven p.m. on the first Monday of those months. If a council meeting day, as provided in this section, falls on a legal holiday, then and in that event, the Council shall meet on the following business day at seven p.m.”

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after it, or a summary thereof, is published in the official newspaper of the Town of Oakesdale as required by law.
