Menszel, George, for driving under the influence with a BAC of 0.14. The defendant was sentenced to 365 days of jail with 363 suspended. Ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,705.83.

Steckler, Jamie, for negligent driving first degree. The defendant was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 suspended. Ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,363.90.

Stephens, Candace, for driving under the influence with a BAC of 0.21. The defendant was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 suspended. Ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,893.

The following items were taken from the Pullman Police log for the enjoyment of Gazette readers.

May 1, Assault. Officer responded to the report of a customer throwing a gallon jug of water at a cashier hitting her in the chest.

May 1, Suspicious Person/Circumstance. Officer advised of someone leaving flowers at the doors of his duplex. RP and his neighbor received flowers and don’t know who did it.

May 2, Welfare Check. RP is reporting a man rolling around on the grass. Officer responded.

May 2, Other Law Enforcement Call. Smoke is going across the roadway from camp fire - not out of control.

May 2, Noise Complaint. RP reporting his roommate has been watching TV very loud. Officer responded.

May 2, Overdose. RP says someone was across the window screaming that they were going to OD on Xanax.

May 4, Taking Motor Vehicle Without Permission. RP says her daughter has taken her father’s car without permission. Officer responded.

May 4, Suspicious Person/Circumstance. RP believes female is trying to break into packaged boxes.

May 4, Malicious Mischief. RP said a knife was in tire of his vehicle when he left work.

May 4, Animal Problem. RP advising there is a bat in her garage. Officers responded.

May 5, Welfare Check. RP reporting a male asleep at the laundromat. Officer responded.
