WIAA asks Colfax band to record national anthem

The Colfax School District band has been asked by the WIAA to record the national anthem for use by other schools for the state 1B/2B basketball tournament at Spokane in March. The recording will be used when schools do not have a band present.

“Colfax was sought out for this,” said Jerry Pugh, Colfax superintendent.

Instructor Mike Morgan and students will move into the new band room at Colfax Junior-Senior High School this week, now equipped with special seats for posture, as well as microphones in the ceiling for recording.
