Four new reserve officers complete academy training

Saturday afternoon marked the completion of training for four newly-trained law enforcement officers after completing an eight month Basic Law Enforcement Reserve Academy which began last November. It was organized and presented by the Whitman County Sheriff's Office. Three new Whitman County reserve deputies and one reserve Pullman police officer received their commissions in Saturday's afternoon ceremony at Colfax.

Auditor Sandy Jamison conducted the oath of office for the deputies, and Pullman Chief Gary Jenkins administered the oath office to his new officer.
