Suspect found dead: St. John standoff ends after 5-year-old released

A day-long standoff in St. John ended late Tuesday when officers entered a residence in St. John and discovered the suspect, Justin P. Robertson, 41, dead. He reportedly had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Robertson at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday turned over his son, Ethan, to officers at the scene and was believed to have taken his own life later in the day.
