Uniontown slates 66th sausage feed

The 66th annual Uniontown Sausage Feed will be Sunday, March 3, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The event will be in the Uniontown Community Building on Highway 195.

This is an all-you-can-eat-meal served in the dining room on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants can also order meat to go and avoid possible waiting time.

The menu includes sausage made from a secret recipe by town residents, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, rolls, pie and a beverage.

A beer garden will be available for customers 21 and older.

Tickets will be available only at the door with payment by cash or check. Prices are $13 for adults, $9 for children ages 6 to 12 and $2 for children under 6.

Proceeds from the banquet are used for upkeep on the Community Building which originally served at the Uniontown school. Work is planned this year on the brick exterior of the building and the windows.
