Board targets January call for bids

Colfax school district board approved a list of new staff and volunteers Dec. 21 and received a construction update from District Supt. Jerry Pugh.

The board convened in a rare morning session due to Christmas break and basketball games the night before.

Last week, eight boxes each weighing more than 100 pounds were delivered by FedEx to the district office. Inside were construction documents to be delivered to eight consultants the district has hired to look them over before the bid process begins.
