United Way begins fundraising drive

The 2018-2019 Pullman United Way campaign is underway to support member agencies. These non-profit organizations provide critical social and health services as well as important programs for young and old in Whitman County. The goal this year is $250,000.

One dollar can be leveraged into $10 to provide food to the elderly, children and low-income families at food pantries and meal sites.

A $50 gift can provide therapeutic scholarships for developmentally delayed and disabled children and opportunities to compete in Special Olympics.

A $100 gift provides counseling services, safety and shelter for a family fleeing a domestic violence situation.
