Commissioners approve zone change hearing

Whitman County Commissioners Monday approved a hearing for a zone change for property owner Bill Swan, set for Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. He has requested a 3.4-acre parcel to go from agricultural to limited light industrial district. The land, just off State Route 27 between Palouse and Pullman, features a boat repair shop which Swan intends to convert into a warehouse for commercial goods.
