Court orders to extend inmate treatment

Extended treatment to regain competency was ordered Friday for Jason Tiplerbarragan, 27, in superior court. He has been undergoing treatment at Eastern Washington State Hospital since the court ruled he would be unable to assist his defense attorney at a trial of the charges against him.

A 13-page treatment report on Tiplerbarragan, which was submitted to the court by the hospital, recommended additional treatment.
