Taylor posts Weedstock suit threat

Dax Taylor, chief organizer of the Weedstock event at Union Flat Creek, in a Facebook post April 24 said he was seeking help in obtaining an attorney to sue the Whitman County Sheriff’s office. Taylor’s post alleges deputies parked at each end of the road and as a result cost the event $1,000s. He stated he did not plan to tolerate the alleged actions.

Taylor’s post alleged everything was tried to get the event stopped and when opponents were unable to stop it they used what he said was “dirty tactics.”

“From day one multiple groups in Whitman County treated us like uneducated potheads,” Taylor’s post said.

He added he didn’t intend to collect a dime for himself from a lawsuit, but he would like to see his staff members paid and vendors compensated for their lack of profits.

“Help me sue the Whitman County Sheriff,” he said at the end of his post. He added he has videos and photo evidence to support a suit.
